MTL is short for mouth to lung which is a common method of vaping where you would take a pull from your vape, then as it’s in your mouth you inhale that vapour into your lungs before exhaling. This type of vaping is often used to fulfil nicotine, flavour and smoking sensation cravings among vapers.

Alternatively, you could choose to use the DTL method which is short for direct to lung. This is slightly different from MTL as you would inhale large amounts of vapour straight from the coil to your lungs. This method is often used to create big clouds, however, it is popular among a wide range of new and experienced vapers.

Well, the main reason would simply be because of the similarities to smoking cigarettes. When you take a drag or a puff of a cigarette you would first take the smoke into your mouth before inhaling deep into your lungs.

Direct to lung vaping is as it says on the tin, straight to your lungs bypassing your mouth. You inhale large amounts of vapour straight from the coil to your lungs, often used by cloud chasers or more experienced vapers, however, they aren’t uncommon for new vapers.
